So Much to be Thankful for

Almost a month into Midwest Salon and I couldnt be happier. Everything is going so well and my 2 biggest fears, the shampoo bowls and the alarm system, have been nothing but irrational. The feedback I am getting from my clients is really what is filling my cup. I couldn't be more thankful that you all have expressed how much you love it at Midwest too.

Carson and Cora Turn 9

Carson and Cora turned 9 last weekend. Where has time gone. We had a Starbucks/Space themed birthday party. It was a "blast". The games we played were Hunt the Moonrocks (like hunting Easter eggs, but it was moonrocks), Head Shoulders Knees and Cup (like musical chairs only you grab a cup), and Blind Barista where the kids had to build a latte while blindfolded. We had loads of fun but this momma was exhausted.
