Move Ups
It’s important to note that the maintenance of hair extensions varies based on the type you choose and your individual hair density. For instance, a sewn-in weft typically requires moving up every 5-7 weeks while keratin bonds may need to be replaced every 3-4 months. We will discuss the best options and maintenance schedule tailored to your needs during your consultation.
FAQ's about Hair Extensions
Q: How long do extensions last?
A:
Keratin bonds typically last 3–4 months before they need to be removed and reapplied. Sewn-in wefts are moved up every 6–8 weeks depending on hair growth. Please note that every person is different and I treat each person as an individual so that you get the right care for you and your lifestyle.
Q: Who is a good candidate for extensions?
A:
Extensions aren’t just for length, many of my clients get them for volume, fullness, and style longevity. Whether you want a dramatic change or subtle enhancement, we can create a plan that fits your needs. The better question is, who is NOT a good candidate for extensions? And the short answer is : if you are maybe going through some trauma and in result your hair is actively shedding at a noticeably higher rate, then you may not be a good candidate today but possibly once that slows down.
I specialize in Keratin Bond (K-tip) extensions and Sewn-In Wefts. Each method has its own benefits, and during your consultation we’ll decide which is best for your hair type, lifestyle, and goals.
Q: What types of extensions do you offer?
A:
Q: How do I take care of my extensions at home?
A:
You’ll get full aftercare instructions, but the basics include using sulfate-free shampoo, avoiding conditioner at the root, and brushing with an extension-safe brush. Proper care keeps your extensions looking great and extends their life.
Q: How much do extensions cost?
A:
Pricing depends on the method, amount of hair needed, and your desired result. After your consultation, you’ll receive a custom quote so you know exactly what to expect.
Q: Do you offer a payment plan?
A:
Yes , I offer flexible payment options through Cherry. This allows you to enjoy your extensions now and pay over time with manageable monthly payments. We’ll go over the details during your consultation so you can choose the plan that works best for you. Please see the Payment Plans page of my website for more information.
